I escaped the UK winter to explore Australia and it turned into one of the most inspiring trips I’ve had, both personally and for Kata Sportswear.

Even if it’s dark, cold and chucking it down (more often than not, at the moment) I’ll be there, ticking off a box.

It was getting to the point that I wasn’t really enjoying my running. I was having to force myself out of the door at times.

2024 is going to be my 10th year of training and I still feel like I’m not as fit or as happy as I could be. It’s been ages, I should be in my dream shape. Surely I have had enough time by now to have achieved all my goals?

The race was a huge success and I got to explore a new place in the best way I know how; running.

I never thought I’d be summer holiday’ing on the West Coast of Scotland, but this is exactly what I did in June as I hiked the West Highland Way.
